His first instrument was a ukulele, then an acoustic guitar and his favorite his Fender Jazz Electric Guitar. He never had a guitar lesson he had the gift of a great musical ear. He started out as the Bennett Brothers with Bobby Yothers, then Frankie & Johnny with Johnny Alden, Goodtimes with MaryAnn and Abby and Frankie Dale Trio with Dale and Tommy Giaquinto. He traveled on the road for several years making a trip to New York City to audition for Arthur Goffrey and Johnny Carson and to perform back-up vocals and music with Bobby Rydell, Little Anthony, The Crystals, Del Satins, The Chiffons, Lou Christie, Skip & Flip and the Angels. I Love You Daddy.. You are so deeply missed.. I miss hearing your voice and listening to your words of wisdom. Until we are together again you are in my thoughts and Heart, Always KL

I just typed in Frankie's name on Google and discovered this. I first met Frankie at the Canteen Inn when he was the Bennett Brothers. At that time I was just starting out in the music business. I later worked with him when he became Frankie and Johnny and I was the lead singer and guitar player for a group called the Casuals at the Hampton manor in Hampton NY. Over a period of time our paths continued to cross and considered him to be a pretty close friend. I am very sorry to learn that of...

To my dear friend Frank who I loved like a brother, we had so many memories of days gone by on Summit Street in Alliance, OH and also our great trip to Marblehead and Salem, Mass. You will be dearly missed by all your friends in good old Alliance. Susan and I send our deepest sympathy to Brandie, Melody, Krislee, and Bonnie. We love you all. God Bless.
