I just typed in Frankie's name on Google and discovered this. I first met Frankie at the Canteen Inn when he was the Bennett Brothers. At that time I was just starting out in the music business. I later worked with him when he became Frankie and Johnny and I was the lead singer and guitar player for a group called the Casuals at the Hampton manor in Hampton NY. Over a period of time our paths continued to cross and considered him to be a pretty close friend. I am very sorry to learn that of his passing. The world was a better place with him in it.

to Frank's family - Jack and I spent many fun evenings dancing to the trio with our friends, the Loves and the Hoffmanns. We loved the band and the music that they played. We're so sorry for your loss - our hearts go out to you.

My prayers and condolences to the family of Frankie. I too have some very fond memories of the Frankie Dale Trio. My friends and I would follow them around and yes we would get up and sing on stage...I Will Survive was our signature song! We had so much fun with them and I will always cherish those times. He was such a great guy...god bless!

We were neighbors when bothof our families were growing up down on Summit Street in Alliance. We lived in back of the Scaia family until 1960 and remember Frank playing on his guitar and his mom yelling at him to quiet it down. He can play all he wants now and my mom will enjoy every note he plays up there in heaven.

The good times was my favorite band and I rarely missed one of their club dates in the Capital District. So sad to hear of "Frankie's" passing and I wonder where Mary Ann and Abby are today? Such wonderful memories of the evenings that I enjoyed their music.

My memories are still fresh in my mind of all the "Good Times" I had listening to the Frankie, Dale, and Tommy on the drums...Frankie was a natural and talented entertainer...but mostly a kind and warm spirited man.. he made everyone feel special...and the laughter was contagious, especially when members from the audience wanted to try their hand on stage...my favorite line to Frankie while sitting in trying to play the drums was "what's in your repertoire"..I wish I could remember his comment ..it probably was a zinger. ...and all the fun times in our backyard...the band playing just as if they were on a "gig"...Prayers and God speed Frankie...you will "wow" them in Heaven.

To Frankie's Family...
The world is a better, happier place because Frankie was here. I watched him for almost 10 years from behind my drums as he played, sang and joked with our audiences. We had some really good times together as the Frankie Dale Trio. I remember Dale and I laughing at some of his antics on stage but we knew the crowd loved him. The 50's set was my favorite...Dale in her poodle skirt and ponytail...Frankie and I with our greased up hair, white tee shirts with cigs rolled up in the sleeve and "shades". We would play one song after another for an hour....the crowd loved it an we loved it.
I wish we had kept in touch more over the years but I am so glad that Brandi called me and I visited over the past couple of months. It was so much fun remembering the good times we had together. I will always cherish his gift to me on my first visit. Thank you Frank for being part of my life. I will remember you always. God Bless Frank Scaia....

To Franks family:
I was very saddened to learn of Franks passing. I knew Frank thru Janet. A while back I was fortunate enough to go on a cruise with them. Frank was such a kind and gentle man. I felt fortunate to have met him. He and Janet have been reunited.
