Not sure what to say?

Attending an internal meeting for City of Austin Employees, interested in learning about the application/interview process within the City of Austin. Playing Jeopardy after the presentation, just to check how much info we retained. What I learned from Mr. Frankie Torres, is that there is an Employment Assistance Division within the City of Austin Human Resources, that offers: -Learning how to search and apply for City jobs. -Get help setting up a City of Austin Employment...

It doesn´t seem like a whole year has passed since Frankie left us. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday, and for the longest time I would wait for him to walk into the office and say, "Hola, Ms. Jay. I brought you breakfast." It still feels surreal at times. I continue to pray for his family and friends and remember his passion for helping others. He was a great person, one of a kind and I was blessed to call him my colleague and friend. Rest easy, Frankie T!

I can't believe it has been a year since my best friend ever passed. I first met Frankie over 20 years ago, when I was his case manager with Project RIO. I knew then that he was a special young man and I let him know that I told him, stick with me buddy and I will help you on your journey to rebuild your life. He did and we became good friends and he was always there when I needed him. He had a way to brighten your day, if you were feeling bad, and every morning he would call me to check on...

I can´t believe it ... Frankie era muy amable de gran corazón un ser humano increíble. RIP Frankie

Oh Mann just heard the news and am very devastated. You Will be missed tremendously. Frankie helped me get in the city and always went the extra mile to help others out. He was a great person to have worked with. Still in shock and can not believe.

I met Frankie and Carol when our sons played on a basketball together when they were very young. We always had a great time, he and Carol were great parents and a lot of fun. I lost contact for years, but recently ran into Frankie again when I started working for the City of Austin. He was a great person. My prayers are with Carol and the kids.

Where to start? Frankie was one of a kind. Between him, Carol (his wife, my co-worker), and our running joke, he made me feel incredible. Love you and will miss you dearly.

Frankie sure did have an infectious smile and really made me feel like we were BFFs even though we only worked together for a short amount of time. He loved his life, his wife, and his kids. I miss him!

My dear friend, you will truly be missed. R.I.P Frankie!
