Franklin Lofton, age 82 of West Palm Beach, Florida, died October 7, 2016.
Franklin is survived by his loving wife Ella Lofton, son Jimmac Lofton, daughter Vonnie Lofton. Grandchildren Alex and Jillian Lofton and their mother B.A. Lofton. His wife's family includes sons Ted, Chip, Dan Swinarki and their children Amber, Jacob, Joseph and Ava.
Franklin proudly served in the 101st Airborne, during the Korean Conflict. For a number of years Franklin was also a member of the Memphis Fire Dept. # 1784, as well as The Mason's Oakville Chapter # 599 in Memphis.
Franklin moved from Memphis, Tennessee in 1975, to settle in the South Florida area. He was a stock broker in Ft. Lauderdale for a short time before retiring.

My name is Charlie Nash I knew Franklin and Ella from her Mother's farm in Pennsylvania...I've always wanted to talk to or see you again and I am so sad to see this about Franklin...I know how it feels, I lost my Debbie 9 yrs ago after being with her for over 28 yrs. Ella if you see this I would love to talk with you sometime...I'm still in Pa..living [email protected] care!

My name is Karen Land. I am Frank's niece. My fondest memory of him was back in the late 1940's. He was home from military training , I believe because he had his uniform on and I know he not gone off to war yet. He and my other Uncle Mack, his brother were flinging me in the air with an army green wool blanket. I was elated and that memory has followed me my entire life. I loved Frank most dearly and will never forget how well he always treated me. I did not get to see him for a very long time, but he was always only a phone call away.
