Sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I have a lot of great memories of working with him at WBTV. He was one of those people who knew how to live life to the fullest, no matter the circumstances. After WBTV, I would see him at his restaurant on Southern Pines Blvd, and Hyatt's. He was always up beat and fun. He is one of those people I can think of and laugh because of all the good memories. RIP my friend, you will be missed.

"Bear" was my suitemate in 1964-65 at Belmont Abbey and he was my PledgeMaster when I joined Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity in 1965. Bear was a HUGE influence on me and no one ever saw Bear without also seeing a wide grin on his face. Frank "Bear" Mack rates as one of the most unforgettable people in my life. He will be deeply missed.

Our deepest sympathy goes to the Mack family on their loss. We worked with Frank at Hyatt's and loved his upbeat personality, not to mention sharing the fantastic Lebanese dishes he made. I still have his recipe for Tabouleh his Mother made.

I met Frank while in the Television business in Charlotte and also worked with him at WCCB-TV. We shared an office, played Golf and our families became very good friends. Even though I am in Florida now, I have thought of him often and am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was an amazing man!

Dear Samantha, family, and extended family...I had the privilege of working with Frank at that other station.....you know the one - "if you can sell this station, you can sell anything". Not sure if that was a Frank quote, but it was definitely a motto during those days. It was a time filled with hard work, great fun and humor, always humor. And there was a kind, steady and anchoring presence know as Frank Mack. I feel fortunate to have known him and extend my most sincere sympathies.

Over the years, I was fortunate to have some memorable visits and phone conversations with Frankie. We had an automatic cousin connection that translated into lots of laughs, memory sharing, and hopes of future visits. Unfortunately, there were not enough of those lovely moments. He will always be remembered. With love, Martha Ann Isaac
