Fred Carpenter “Coach” passed away in June. His obit is on Legacy.com. Coach was so kind, caring and compassionate. He always brought bushels of produce to the pool buddies to share. It would be a nice tribute to him to post the email below in the August issue of the NSC booklet. Thank you!

So good to hear from you. I am sorry about the loss of your friend. Coach was quite a guy and extremely popular on fresh corn and tomato day!

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Coach was a wonderful, caring, kind human being. His generosity knew no bounds. All of his pool buddies in the Newark Senior Center witnessed him bringing in bushels of produce for everyone to share. We remember Coach for his goodness and his friendliness to everyone. RIP Coach. COACH HAD HEART OF GOLD-SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY/FRIENDS-COACH HAD TWIN BROTHER- COACH TAUGHT IN MIDDLETOWN SCHOOLS AND ST. ANDREWS. WE BELONGED TO OCTOBER BIRTHDAY CLUB. I just found out that Coach passed. I knew Coach in the Newark Senior Pool when he use to being us a load of vegetables to the Newark Senior Pool. Everyone thought the world of him and he will be missed. Barbara Durham
