Not sure what to say?

Saddened to read of Mr. Voss's passing. I met him and his wife years ago at my place of employment. He was an exceptional gentleman who believed passionately in keeping the message, "Never Again", in all of our minds. Thank you to his family for allowing him to share his time with so many of us. He was certainly an admirable human being.

Dear Ilse and Claudia,

We have got to know Fred and you more than 10 years ago by email and phone. In 2015 we visited you in Ithaca for a week and were very impressed that you welcomed us without any prejudice and with great cordiality, although we are from Germany.

We are very sad about Fred's death and miss him already. We will never forget him and keep the memory
of him alive in his native city Aachen. Today we will light a candle for Fred and soon we will put a...

Dear Ilse and Claudia

I am so sorry to hear of Freds passing. I have wonderful memories of his talks his talks to high school students and people in the community. The sharing of Freds experience in the Holocaust was so important to remind us never again.

Im also so grateful to Fred and Ilse for your wisdom and support during our move to Illinois.

Fred and I worked together for many years at Liberty Travel. His many tours to Alaska and Hawaii made him many friends and loyal clients. Personally what he taught me I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Prays for the family.
