Fred Wetzel Obituary

Fred J. Wetzel LEBANON Fred J. Wetzel, 72, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, in his residence. He was the husband of Rose Marie Knoche Wetzel, with whom he was married to for 54 years. He was born in Lebanon on April 29, 1941, a son of the late Howard and Jennie Steffy Wetzel. He was employed for over 35 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and a member of the R. Field & Stream of Lebanon. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Beth wife of Les Sanders of Myerstown, Kim Wetzel and companion Ralph Rhoad of Annville; granddaughter, Mandy Houser and companion Omar Vega; great-grandchildren, Isiah Cintron Houser, Nevah Vega and Nadiah Vega; brother, Howard husband of Naomi Wetzel of Lebanon; step brother, Stanley husband of June Risser of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Melissa Houser; and great-grandson, Jonah Houser. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
