Not sure what to say?

I knew Fred to be kind and an intensely smart man. He introduced me to the higher levels of cloisonné and was patient with my learning. I just found out of his passing and express my deepest feelings to his friends and family.

The knowledge he was delighted to share was a joy and he was always interested in new information I had discovered. Alas my last recent emails will remain unanswered. His book will remain a great...
