My deep condolences to the Wu family. I just read about Eric in the Brown Daily Herald and I am saddened that Brown and the world has lost such an exceptional and kind human being. I hope you find solace in the fact that Eric had a positive impact on so many others during his short but substantial lives. My prayers are with you.

To the parents of Frederick Wu, I’m so sorry this tragedy happened to your child. He appeared to have a lot of potential and gifts to share with the world. I drive by the accident location daily and think of him as I do. He will never be forgotten by me. May you one day find the peace you deserve.

Eric was a great human being and I enjoyed working with him when he was at Phillips Academy and in my dorm there as a 10th grader. I’ll miss not seeing his story unfold ; it was sure to be a rich and substantial one. Sending peace to his whole family.
