Not sure what to say?

As a Volunteer Coordinator & Guardian Ad litem for Children in Placement both in Bridgeport & Norwalk Juvenile Courts I had the honor to sit in on cases when Judge Brenneman was on the bench. She was a wealth of knowledge in Juvenile matters, always striving for the Best Interest of the Children. She was truly amazing & had a heart of gold. I learned so much from her & she was the epitome of a great judge. I feel so lucky to have known her. When I had events she would always attend as a...

Amy, you may not realize how much of an impact Judging Amy made on the public. It is a truly inspirational show for young women to look up to, to know they can do anything they want in life with hard work & ambition. I didn't know this show was based on your Mom until about 2 years ago & I'm 63. I was the first female draftsman (draftsperson, I said) in 1981 at Harris County Land Map Division. I was made fun of, men came from cities around Houston to see the woman who claimed she knew...

Sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. I have many loving memories of being neighbors in Glastonbury.

Bert and I are so sorry to hear of Freddie's death. We had been hoping to visit her again this summer in L.A. I was a Harvard-Radcliffe "extern" in her juvenile court in 1985 and, partly because my parents had died the year before, she and Russell mentored and "adopted" me for more than 30 years after that. I went on to Harvard Law School and practiced law for nine years, in Boston, Japan and Hartford, before deciding to become an English teacher. All that was with the love and constant...

For the past few months I have been thinking of Judge Brenneman. I had the pleasure as a Volunteer coordinator & GAL from Children in Placement at both Norwalk & Bridgeport Juvenile Court.
She was the most outstanding woman & caring judge I had ever met. I happen to do a search and just found her obit noticed from 2 months ago today :(
I am deeply sorry for her family, this has left me in tears.
When I needed her to speak at events she never hesitated.
It is such an...

Dear Amy,

I am so sorry for your loss. While I never met your mother, I adored "Judging Amy" and later discovered that much of that TV series was based on your mother and her career. In my mind, "Judging Amy" remains the best, classiest, most superb show on television. Your mother's passing is definitely a loss for many people.

Again, I am truly sorry, and may peace be with you.
