Fred was a wonderful and giving person. He will be truly missed by family and friends. A light has gone, but his happy memories will last be our strength. Wishing peace for his family in this time of sorrow.

Much sadness and a deep loss to lose a friend of such cheer and brilliance.

Condolences from our family to Fred's. In the 20+ years I knew Fred, he could always be counted on for a kind word. In recent years he took the time to visit with my daughter working at the Schenectady Greenmarket on Sunday mornings, even teaching her a few words of German. The Schenectady area has lost one of its most tireless and effective promoters. We will miss him.
