Words can only express the sadness felt by your passing. You were truly a mentor, a giving person and optimistic person who enjoyed life and your many friends. When I think of you I will see you smiling, rosy cheeks and just a happy person

Condolences from our family to Fred's. In the 20+ years I knew Fred, he could always be counted on for a kind word. In recent years he took the time to visit with my daughter working at the Schenectady Greenmarket on Sunday mornings, even teaching her a few words of German. The Schenectady area has lost one of its most tireless and effective promoters. We will miss him.
