I have known your dad for 30 years both in and out of work and spent many Sundays for the last 12 - 14 years with him at the shoots. Fred, Benny W & I were the guys to beat and had a great time at it. Come September, it just won't be the same. I still remember the old worn & partially broken shotgun Fred would bring with the red tape on the stock. He called it "Old Faithful". I asked him this last season if he still had it and he said yes, he could not get rid of it...

Dear Dad,

I'm still having a very hard time adjusting to the fact that you're gone. No more breakfast's at Hotcake's, lunch at the Lucky Strike or holiday dinners at Rose's & Judy's houses. No more camping trips to our places in NH and VT, no more salt water taffy, fudge or 100% Vermont Maple Syrup. I'll miss our conversations sitting around the campfire while my Billy made our Filet Mignon on the grill.
