God bless all you surviving members of the Elgosin family.Your family and businesses on the square all contributed richly to making Whitefield the friendly community it was when I was growing up there.

I am away at this time at my home in Brazil and have just heard the news of Fred's passing. I am so glad that I was able to have a phone conversation with Fred in the fall before I came to Brazil. Knowing Fred and working with him at The Spaulding Inn was pleasure. Rest in peace my friend.
