Fritz was a great mentor to me, one of a short handful who had the greatest impact on my life. I'm glad to see the names of my wrestling teammates- John Barbis, Doug Ross and Tim Golding left their regards, too. Those were the days, weren't they? I just got the message, today. It's that time of our lives when we start losing our friends to the ravages of time.

Dear Bridget and Catherine, I am so sorry to hear about the passive of Fritz. I have very fond memories of Fritz both in the wrestling room and while drinking beer. His laugh, humor, and advice to me and other crazy wrestlers meant a lot to us. Haverford was not exactly the easiest place to coach wrestling but Fritz found a way. My sympathies and best wishes go out to you and your family. John Barbis

My wife, Jerilynn and I were privileged to socialize with him and you,...
