Frederick Jay Heyne V, "Quinto," was born in Houston, Texas on September 23, 2012, and passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his parents on October 9, 2021. Although his time with us was brief, he experienced a lifetime's worth of love from his parents, Monica Cisneros Heyne and Frederick Jay Heyne IV, and his three siblings, Evelyne, Charlie, and Annabelle. Quinto was loved and cherished by his family and was adored by all those he met. Quinto will be remembered as a happy, charming, and remarkably brave boy, who enjoyed a summer breeze, music, snuggles, Christmas lights, and balloons, as well as spending time with his siblings. Quinto will be deeply missed by all, including his grandparents, Sara Cisneros, Luis Cisneros MD, and Fred and Janet Heyne; his aunts, uncles, and cousins; his godmother, Julie Davidson; his godfather, Jose Cisneros; and his many kind friends.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers, therapists, teachers, nurses, and doctors who were so instrumental in Quinto's journey. The family is especially grateful for the care provided by The Complex Care Clinic at Texas Children's Hospital and the Memorial Hermann Pediatric Hospice Program.
A memorial service to celebrate Quinto's life will be held at St. John the Divine, 2450 River Oaks Boulevard, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 12:30 in the afternoon and will be available at www.sjd.org/heyne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Quinto's name to The Caroline School, 4888 Loop Central Drive, Houston, TX 77081; or a charity of your choice.
