Frederick Lickfold III

We were sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Our memory is of one very much alive and in good health. He certainly lived a full and Noble life. When we met him in England he was concerned that he might not have grandchildren. So glad he was blessed with 9 of them to love. We will miss his interesting and humorous Christmas letters. Sympathy and condolences for a great American Hero. God Speed.

I was shocked to read Freddy's obituary in yesterday's AJC. We had been classmates at John Rundle HS in Grenada, MS in the mid-50s, but I had lost track of him when he went to MS State and I to Ole Miss. With sincere sympathy I send thoughts and prayers to his wife, Susan, and his family.

Fred was my best friend when we were in Pensacola, and remained someone I really cared for. Susan, Betsy and I add our condolences. We have not been the best at keeping in touch, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the children. He will truly be missed. We had some great times together!
