Fred was a foundation in our lives. He welcomed me into the Paul TIllich Society and we met at AAR meetings from coast to coast in the USA as well as Tillich meetings in Germany, France, Belgium and Canada. His friendship brought together so many of us who shared his devotion to the theology of Paul TIllich and shaped our thinking on his insights. We will miss you, Fred, and our lives are emptier without you but enriched so much by loving you.

We need more NON-judgemental people in this world, not less. He will be missed. RIP, worldly educator of many.
