Frederick Roberts Obituary
Indianapolis - Passed away on August 2, 2019 at the age of 76. Fred was born on December 30, 1942 in Indianapolis to William and Pearl Carlyle Roberts. He was the owner of Roberts Maintenance. He loved playing cards and the slots machines. He is survived by his beloved wife Billie Marendt Roberts, children Tammy (Charles) Hamblen, Honey (Bob) Gant, Frances (Wayne) Melton, Ronnie (Kim) Singleton, sisters, Pat, Jerry, Rose, Kathy, Ruby, Sherry brothers George, Ralph and Russell. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Buzz, Stan and Little Stan. Visitation will be Thursday, August 8 from 3 - 8 pm at Little and Sons Stop 11 Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, August 9 at 11 am at Little and Sons Stop 11 Funeral Home with visitation an hour before service. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Fred Roberts was "One of a Kind "and we loved him very much! Fred you were very strict on us , and now that I have children and a granddaughter I know why you would do the things that you did, like drive by us walking home from school ( several times) going through our purse, always made us do the dishes , cook , walk to Makitas carrying seemed like 100 returnable bottles, no phone calls from boys ,no boys allowed period! I appreciate all that now and always will ...thank you for accepting Ron from day one...we love you and will miss you! We will stop in and aggervate Billie Mae don't worry! Thanks for always being there for Ron and I and for all the memories

Fred thank you for being like a father to me. When my dad past you were there. If I needed advise or just to talk ,complain or just laugh. It has truly been my honor to of known you. I love you and my adopted family..Prayers to all the Roberts family
