Not sure what to say?

Joe,Sherri and Becky,
I am really sorry to hear of you Dad`s passing. He was alway`s kind and said hello in the hallways of FMP. I often think of you guy`s and those days. They were some of the best and will never be forgotten. Your dad still has a strong presence as well as your all. May God Bless you all.

Dear Cousins, I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. You are in my prayers.

Dear Joey, Becca, Sherry:

It has been many years since I have seen all of you. I was the blonde, 3rd. wheel following Debbie & Smit. on their dates. Boy, did we have fun!Deb and I were young girls involved with Kung-fu...and I was the one being picked on for wearing make-up & earrings to class! Your Dad was to me the sweetest and most generous man around us. I think of him and smile always with love. God bless you always, and may you have peace knowing his great love for you all....

Happy Fathers Day, Dad. I miss you very much. I will see you again someday. Love You!

In loving memory of a great person, Smitty was very generous to me in my time of need. I showed up in Florida well ahead of schedule with no where to go and having never met him, he offered me a place to stay for as long as I needed to get set up. I will not forget him I only had the opportunity to meet him once but he took me in with only the knowledge that I was his brothers grandson, and that was enough for him. Thank you Fred for your hospitality. My condolences to your family.

Smitty, I will miss your council and your friendship. You touched many people's lives and you had a profound effect on the direction of my own life. You will always be in my thoughts.

My deepest sympathy goes out to my nieces and nephew. I never really got acquainted w/my brother Fred until this last March. I am so glad Sandi and I spent some time in March getting to know him, and meeting his children & granchildren.

(My first entry didn't appear so I am trying again.)

To our friends and family on behalf of the Schmitz family, I would like to extend gratitude to those who have shared their memories and condolence. It gives us great comfort to know that our father has touched the hearts of so many, for that was what he wished.

I only got to meet uncle Fred once when I was 3 or so, but I remember the trip fairly well. Dad always spoke highly of him.
