Uncle Free, we sure will miss you when we come up to Florida. We always enjoyed your company...and all the stories that you told about your youth in both Barbados and the US, as well as some more recent stories of your encounters. You always had a smile and a joke ready. We're sure that you will have the Big Man up there splitting his sides! You take care and we'll see you when we get there. RIP Uncle Free.

Fred, we have shared over thirty years of friendship, you and Doris and I, so you can imagine how much you will be missed, much more than mere words can say. I miss your jokes and ready smile. The soup was always the greatest. Love you and miss you, until we meet again.

Uncle Free and I worked together for awhile. As well he lived in an apartment next to my house. Most afternoons after work he would come over for a drink and sometime dinner. We spent this time talking of the past, present and what we would like to be able to do in the future. Genuine quality time. He always had time for my family and I, both in Florida and in Barbados. I will miss him dearly.

Fred, Now you are home among the Angels. They will appreciate your humor, your laughter, and your good natured kidding- maybe even the occasional irreverence in your jokes that weren't meant to harm, but that found humor in things that were themselves irreverent. You enjoyed people and could relate to anyone which is why I think the Angels will seek out your friendship. Thank you for loving my mother and for sharing the good times together that have created such wonderful memories for all of us. I don't drink scotch, but I will sit down alone with a beer and talk to you about the good times we shared. I will miss you, my friend, and I know you are in a very good place. (I hope the television reception is good and that you can still watch Judge Judy and cheer her on.) Rest well and enjoy eternity.

I remember wonderful times with Uncle Free in Florida especially driving to the Keys, the everglades stop when we all got soaking wet and going to amusement parks. He always made us laugh. You will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with the family at this time.
Everyday in some small way

Though absent, you are always near
Still missed, loved and always dear.

A joke, a laugh and a smile. Always infectious. To my 'scotch' buddy, thanks for being such a good friend and taking great care of Dor. Knowing that there is another special guardian angel to watch over us is comforting. Rest in Peace Fred.

We'll say goodbye to the Old Canal Rd., to Coney Island, Hot Dogs, Oysters and steamed clams, of which we had quite a few. Goodbye to corned beef, pastrami and bangers too. But goodbye is not a word between you and I, so until we meet again to say "Hello", your kid brother, Garth
