To Cookie and Frieda'a Mama and Family, I have known and loved freida for 41 years. I remember the times we spent together at the house in Detroit, Freida's room upstairs, and the purple claw foot bathtub. The cruises in her green mustang, and the red VW beetle. I am so sorry for the loss of my sweet friend Freida. This family has been such a blessing to me. I will miss seeing and talking to Freida, and seeing that beautiful smile.I wake up every morning, hoping this is not true. Rest peacefully my sweet friend. I love you.

Freida knew me well. The good, the bad and the ugly. She cared enough to call me on stupid moves and was compassionate enough to supporting me when I decided to grow up. Her insights had more depth, truth and common sense than any philosophy I've ever studied. The loving example she set for her nephew (and my son) Mars will continue to be alive in this world. I'll never forget the night we sang Elton John songs together until Sloane called me home. R.I.P.
