Gabrielle B. Rifkin, M.D., age 39, of Chicago, beloved daughter of Shelby Rifkin and Mary Saunders; loving sister of Todd (Dana) and Jamie Rifkin; fond aunt of Andrew, Allison and Alexander Rifkin. Graveside Services Sunday 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor, to Brookfield Zoo Development Dept., 3300 Golf Rd., Brookfield, IL 60513 or Lincoln Park Zoo c/o Marilyn Schaffer, 2001 N. Shelby, I only heard yesterday. Parents should not have to endure this, and 26 years has not and will never change my view of that. God grant you strength and show you the way to solace as you have lent your strength and compassion to my patients and my family so often over the last 30 years.
