Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home - Evendale/Blue Ash Obituary

Gail Joyce (Meyer) Miller, recently of Maineville, passed away peacefully during the early morning of Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Karl and Camille (Heil) Meyer and was preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Day Steinke, and brother, Jimmy K. Meyer.

Devoted wife to her late husband, Donald R. Miller; loving mother to her daughter, Marilyn (Jeff) Stoops; proud “Mimi” to granddaughter, Stephanie Stoops; beloved aunt, relative, and a friend to so many throughout her life.

Gail graduated from Walnut Hills High School. She was passionate about swimming and was actively involved with both Countryside and Blue Ash YMCA’s. She often joked that she taught half of the kids in Cincinnati how to swim. She loved her country and her city as a lifelong fan of Skyline Chili, the Reds, and Bengals. A couple of her friends have already announced they are going to miss her asking, “Is the game on?” as she entered the room.

Gail was very outgoing, and she loved hosting family and friends. She was a meticulous homemaker, both inside and outside the home, and took great pride in everything she accomplished. We will deeply miss her warm and loyal presence.

The family wishes to thank all of her friends and caretakers at The Glen and Arden Courts of Anderson for their outstanding support.

Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am Friday, July 18th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Interment will follow onsite at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.MRFH.com

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gail’s honor are suggested to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, (CuSTOM) Center for Stem Cell & Organoid Medicine, https://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/research/divisions/c/CuSTOM/give
