I fondly remember Sunday or Monday night football with you and the guys. Rest well, big guy, and know that you are missed. R.I.P., Garland.

RIP Garland. You were such a positive influence for your coworkers and everyone you encountered on the job.

Gone too soon. Rest in peace gentle giant.

Garland and I worked together at UT Arlington PD before I went on to Arlington PD. He was a gentle giant with a kind word for everyone. He and his family would meet up with our family and We would all watch the annual Arlington 4th of July parade, always sitting on the curb on S. Cooper Street by Davis Hall. Those are wonderful memories of a simpler time. I will miss you, my friend.
