Not sure what to say?

Many years have passed. I was an art student of his in the early 1970s. He was very influential & kind. Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former students, & all.

Gary Allen was a wonderful, kind, and inspiring teacher I had the privilege of learning from while at City College in the early 70s. I am sad to hear of his passing. He leaves behind a legacy of free thinking and encouragement to so many Sam Francisco art students. Kay Stamoulis Kartsioukas

Gary Allen was a wonderful Art Teacher. I was only able to take a couple of his classes, but he sure made a big impression on me. So happy to hear that he found the great love of his life and had so many happy years to share. An Emmy winner and cat lover, I'm even more impressed. Haven't seen or communicated with him since graduation in 55 but he was a hell of a guy and we had a great time in high school I'm sure he will be missed immensely. Robert McDonnell (kansas)

We "got each other" and didn't live for the approval of others; we always had...

I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the peace that God gives and his promise at John 6:40 strengthen and comfort you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find strength and comfort from God's written word and from each other, during this most difficult time. Isiaiah 25:8
