To Trish and the entire Apel family there are no words to express my sadness. Gary was my teammate, my friend, my Brother. The great memories will always be with me and there are so many. The things I will keep with me forever about my friend is He always had my back no matter what, his great since of humor, he could make laugh till I cried, but most of all that big heart of his and that wonderful smile. I will miss my teammate, friend and brother, but never shall I forget him. All my love Gary.

My sincerest condolences to Trish, Liz and Gary Jr and spouses. Gary was the best. What I admired most about Gary was despite all his health issues, he never complained and always had an upbeat attitude. God Bless you Gary, see you on the other side. RIP

I am so sorry to read about the loss of Gary. I have so many great memories of being over the Apel's house growing up. I remember us kids playing in the pool while Gary grilled burgers and played cool music. It was the best. He was always kind and fun to be around. He will be greatly missed!

Gary and I worked together at Lilliston Ford, in the 80s. My sincere condolences to the family. May God enfold you in His grace and bring you peace and comfort, in your time of need.
