Not sure what to say?

So hard to believe it has already been 11 years. I swear I bring you up in a conversation at least once a week to someone. You had such an impact on my family and my career. I will be forever grateful for our friendship and the time we worked together. You truly were such an inspiration to so many. Definitely a life taken too soon.

I miss my friend!

Just thinking back on my friendship with Gary and growing up in South Omaha. He was a good friend and always a very grounded and thoughtful guy, even as a little kid...

I still think about Gary and our times growing up in South Omaha. We had a paper route together and had some great times together...

I am shocked to learn of this today. I wondered why he hadn't called me for a while. I am so very sorry to hear of Dr. Baker's passing. He had such a beautiful, kind, and compassionate soul. He was one of kind. I admired and respected his attention to detail and always felt that I was in the best of hands. His bedside manner, interests and our conversations about my job in the Airline industry were always interesting and fun! I'm so sorry to hear this.

I trained with Dr. Baker in Chattanooga along with Dr. Warren Patterson as an intern and I cannot overstate how I indebited to these doctors for being true mentors in the classic Hippocratic fashion

Gary and I were great friends in grade school and Jr. High. Top notch guy and I'm sorry for everyone's loss...

I was shocked to hear of his passing. I worked with him years ago at KU. He always had funny stories and wanted to do the best for his patients.
