Not sure what to say?

OMG; I just came across this announcement in an internet search for Gary. We knew each other for many years in Saint Louis as close skydiving buddies and I came to know Donna through him. Pleasant and fond images and memories of both of you have surfaced over the years. Please accept my belated sympathies for your loss and well-wishes for your future. He was definitely a remarkable spirit who enriched my life!

Gary and I served together in the same battalion at Camp Pendleton. He was a dear friend and a fine fellow Marine. He taught me to respect body builders and I talked him into his first jump out of a perfectly good airplane. While we have not spoken for many years, I am sure that he was a wonderful, loving, and happy husband, father, family member and friend. I know that he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he graced. Godspeed to you Gary and my sincere condolences to your loving...

You will be missed, my friend and I
look forward to meeting you and your family in Heaven someday.

I went to school with Gary at Central Missouri State and we were roommates for little over a year. I just was thinking about making contact with him and found this obituary.

I met and traded with Gary over many years when he was with Alside. He always shared sage advice. Gary expressed his great love for Donna many years ago when he commissioned me to build a for her a large country style cabinet. He beamed in anticipation before presenting it to Donna. Gary will be truly missed.

Gary's light will continue to shine in heaven and all the angels will love his laughter as he's given all of us. God Bless you and give you peace.

He was my favorite rep that called on Amazing Siding. A great honorable man and will be missed.

Gary was a long time sales rep for Amazing Siding and a good honest friend. He took this photo about 6-8 years ago. I've never met a happier person.

I met Gary several years ago through his train collecting. He would come into our family store--Train Town--to see what trains we recently brought in. I will always remember his laugh. It was great! I would always try and say something humorous to get him to laugh. It was one of a kind and infectious. He was always in a good mood no matter what. Last year he told us that he "had bought the farm" literally. He told us about his property he recently purchased and we laughed about it. ...
