Gary Lynn "Bogie" Batson

Bogey was one of the kindest always to other people and so much fun to party with and go to concerts at state fairgrounds when we sat on blankets on floor and saw many great rock bands in the 70s. Will miss him much. Chiquita Worley(Chicky Hartman)

I met Bogey when I was 19 years old at Commercial Vinyl. I give him full credit for training me to work there. He had so much electro-mechanical knowledge, and I was lucky enough to have him share his knowledge with me. It wasn't unusual when he would bring fish and food from his gardens to share with us. He was an intelligent, humble, and good friend to me. My prayers go out to his family. He will be missed. ~Donna Brackman

Gary & I were classmates from Tri High "72" We grew up together in Lewisville and shared lots of good times and made lots of memories and had lots of laughs. I visited with him the last time I was in Indiana and was so glad to see him. He was special and will be missed by many. RIP Bogey. My sympathy to the Bow & Batson families
