Gary Lee Botek

I am grateful for the time I shared with Gary. We helped each other grow. I will miss him. I offer prayers for all those closest to him, especially Tony. My heart goes out to you.

So many wonderful memories of Gary and Tony coming up north to hunt, sitting around the table eating apple pie and telling stories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. We're especially thinking of you,Tony, knowing how much you will miss your dad. God bless you.

Although most of Gary's family won't remember me, I was a classmate of his at Grand Ledge. I originally met him as the neighbor of Chuck Jurstik. Gary and I played freshman and JV football together and shared a few classes. As my career took me out of the Lansing area, we lost touch, I am sorry to say.
