So many wonderful memories of Gary and Tony coming up north to hunt, sitting around the table eating apple pie and telling stories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. We're especially thinking of you,Tony, knowing how much you will miss your dad. God bless you.

Although most of Gary's family won't remember me, I was a classmate of his at Grand Ledge. I originally met him as the neighbor of Chuck Jurstik. Gary and I played freshman and JV football together and shared a few classes. As my career took me out of the Lansing area, we lost touch, I am sorry to say. I will always think of him with the chuckle he shared when he found something funny before he began to laugh. He and Chuck and I shared many a night out doing things we shouldn't have been doing as teenagers. really just silly fun. My prayers are to you all, as his family and decendants. May he rest in peace and may you all find that same peace in your hearts as you move forward with your lives without him.
