Great athlete, great dad, great referee and a superb friend!

A year has gone by and I am still saddened by the loss of my dear friend and classmate . The strength of Jeannie and the support of his children and family have helped all of them to get through this past year ... especially his mother! Keep watching over all of us , dear Gary . Having just learned of Gary's passing, my heart is beyond saddened. Gary was a friend during our four years at BC together - Jeannie and Merry as well. Kindness and gentleness best describe the person I knew then, along with his winning, athletic prowess and friendly demeanor. My love to Jeannie and their extended family together. RIP

It´s with great sorrow of the passing of Gary. He was an exceptional man and as a kid I always remember his infectious laugh. Gary was best friends with my oldest brother Joe Legere. All my brothers and sisters knew Gary and his family growing up. I remember playing tag in our front yard down on Cedar Brook Road and loving it when Gary stopped by cause I knew we would be be having some fun.
