Dear Diane
Hi Diane so sorry too hear about Gary passing away.Gary was a great guy who certainly helped me as an up and coming operator. We always enjoyed his humor and the expression on his face; which is how he obtained the nick name butt face.(lol)Gary always was there if you needed something and he was the kind of guy that would do anything for you.I miss my MareIsland buddies that I had too leave when I transferred up here too Washington, but I had too do it.May the Good Lord...

Dear Diane and family,

My husband Ken and I send you our deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Gary at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and he was truly a great guy. I learned a lot from Gary about crane operating and will never forget the many contributions he offered to us all with his experience. Some of my most fond memories were when we were all together in the lunch room laughing and talking about the days events. Gary was always one of my favorite people. I am truly...

Diane,
Tina and I were saddened to hear of Gary's passing. I enjoyed the time I worked with him at Mare Island. He taught me alot on Crane Operating. I wish we could have seen you and Gary when you were in Bremerton.
God bless.

Hi Diane, My wife Theresa and I are really sorry to hear about the loss of a truly great friend, and such a wonderful person who had such a big heart to all that knew him. I spent several years working along side Gary at Mare Island and can see him now as I knew him then. The closure of the base left some of us a little further apart as we moved away from the area to continue with on with our lives. He was a friend to me and I will never forget him. We express our condolences to you and your...

Dear Diane, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Gary today. It is ironic that I was just talking about him today. He was one of my favorite people when I worked at Mare Island. He really helped me when I was a young crane operator just starting out. I always looked up to him. I am glad I got to see him when you were up here a few years ago. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

Dianne & family. We were shocked to receive the notice in the mail of Gary's passing. The closeness of all of the crane operators at Mare Island is something that just can't be duplicated. I have very special memories of extremely good times that we all shared with Gary. You know how I felt about him. I will miss him greatly & am so thankful we had the opportunity to visit with you both a few years back. God bless you both. Our sincere condolences..Gene & Lynette
