Not sure what to say?

Gary was a teacher, a mentor, and a friend. He guided me through many years of my college education and then some. I still miss him and think of him often. Gary was the major influence for me in my career path and he inspired me to find "riches" outside of having money. I will forever be grateful and I will pass on that philosophy we shared on life to my kids and to all the students that will be part of my life (even if only for a short time). Of course, I will always credit Gary Downing.

I worked with Gary for six years at Metro. He was a mentor and a friend. Gary was a special kind of man that had a positive impact on all that knew him. Rest in peace Gary, I'm glad the paths of our lives crossed.

We appreciate Gary's work for the faculty at Metropolitan Community College. His students will miss him, but so do we faculty.
Sincerely,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a fine man and everyone who knew him is mourning him. We both hope your memories of Gary will be be of comfort to you. Please accept our sympathy and know that you are all in our prayers.

We are sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Gary. We will miss him. He is in Gods hands now. God Bless you all in the times to come

Many great memories. Uncle Gary will be deeply missed.

I am so sad to hear of your loss. Uncle Gary was a Giant of a man. Although, I have not seen him since I was a little girl I recently spoke with him on the phone while he was visiting my father, Clarke Downing. We had a wonderful conversation and I will always be thankful for that. Rest in Peace Uncle Gary you are in God's hands now.
