Gary Fuller

I had the privilege of having Dr. Fuller as my Moral Problems professor at Central Michigan University. His legacy will live on through the many students he impacted and challenged to see the world in new and thoughtful ways. I will always remember his mannerisms and the genuine care he showed for his students.

I am honored to have known Gary. I met him through my father, who was a friend of his. But he never treated me as merely a friend´s son but always as a person and friend in my own right. Gary was the kind of person who was genuinely interested in other people and, when speaking with you, gave you one hundred percent of his attention. That is a rare quality, I think, and one that I will deeply miss, as I will miss him.

I was not privileged to have a class with Gary, but I spoke with him many times, and I very much looked up to him. As a student at Central Michigan University, I was awarded the Fuller Endowed Scholarship. I am forever grateful to him for his great contribution to my education.
