I can´t say what is my very first memory of Gary as we met when we were just 7 and 8 years old, but I have vivid memories of us goofing around in the seating area at the Hackensack Y. Gary and I swam together at the Y and then at Wave and he was always very special to me. He was so smiley and goofy and he made swimming, which can be quite boring at times, so fun.
