Gary Lee Hopkins

Gary was my classmate in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. We were the second class to integrate in 1966-67. Gary helped me get thru the discomfort of being in a new school. This was his Home Town. He knew a lot (if not all) of the peiple we were with Monday-Friday. I moved there after being at the same school for 11 years. A man of character, honor and dignity and oh so full of wisdom. It was obvious that he loved his wife and family dearly and told me a few tales that made me laugh. Gary taught me to be a little more patient and not to let the little things get to me. He diversified my world in a way that changed me for the better and I will forever be grateful. Our hearts are breaking for you. We are so sad to hear about the loss of your Husband/Dad/Grandpa. Gary was such a wonderful man with the greatest personality. The world was a happier place because he was in it. We are so glad we got to meet up with all of you while in California. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
