Dear Laurie,
Dave and I were sad to learn of Gary's passing. We truly learned so much from our time at Fabric Place and our time in Sudbury. Dan O and I were reminiscing last night about the times we all shared when in Sudbury.
Lorrain also enjoyed all your visits in Michigan.
Please know that our thoughts continue to be with you.

Dear Laurie. just wanted you to know that I have been thinking about you a great dea of late. Gary was such a kind, sensitive, giving guy, and I really admire how he handled himself during the shack raising and, later, in confronting adversity. My regret is that I didn't get more time with him and you these past few years on the dunes and in Florida.

My first job when I was in high school was working for the Isaacson's at The Sportswear Store. I worked with my friend Bernie Lynch for Ron in the drapery department, and if I remember correctly, Gary worked primarily in the clothing area, but he was all around. I remember him and Ron as 'good cop, bad cop', with Gary the good cop, always smiling, telling funny stories.
I'm not in the Framingham area any more, but I keep tabs online, and it was sad to see the Fabric Place close...

My deepest sympathy and sadness goes out to the Isaacson & Weitzler famly.
To think of Gary with his quiet way and warm smile, Sportswear, Annie and Betty. The Framily all working together and then on to bigger venue's to the Fabric Place.
Yes, this family is a true back bone of Framingham.
