Gary Paul hired me to work at the NC Housing Finance Agency in 1986. He left not long after I started but I stayed in touch with him over the years. Gary Paul was a true professional with a real commitment to affordable housing. He made a significant impact the lives of thousands of families both statewide in North Carolina and locally in Greensboro. It was an honor to have known him.

Remembering playing tennis with Gary and also discussing politics and public policy with other like minded friends. He was a gentle spirit and will be missed.
