We think fondly of the entire Schreider family, ranging from Gary's time as a Golden Gael, through your hospitality to the Queen's football team after one of their games in Ottawa and the visits to Invermere to share time with us at Susanne's home at that time. He was a gentleman and a tremendous friend to all of our family.
We are thinking about all of you at this point and share your sorrow.

I was so sorry to hear of Gary's passing.I knew Gary when we were in high school. As a teenager he was such a positive,gentlemanly young man and I felt privileged to call him my friend. To Gary’s Family and Friends
Sorry to hear the bad news, it pains me to hear we lost a fellow son of Belleville, Queen’s University and the Ottawa Rough Rider’s. I knew of Gary and his accomplishments and many years latter I followed his foot steps. He was an inspirational figure that I looked up to his efforts made the path to my success a easier because the trail was already broken.
