Remembering Gary..best to the Shipe Family

I was shocked to see the notice in the Penn Stater. While I did not keep in touch with Gary after graduating from Penn State, I remember the days of playing basketball and the legendary dorm water balloon battles fondly. My sincerest condolences to his family. RIP Gary

Gary was a great friend, fiery yet classy competitor, and all around good guy. I know him from our college years at Penn State. The world is a lesser place without him in it. My deepest sympathies to all his family.

So sorry to hear about your husband, Jeanne. You spoke so highly of him and he missed you so while you were in the Middle East with John and I. It would have been nice to have met him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you .

Our prayers go out to the family and friends of Gary. I knew Gary from being on the Macungie Youth Assoc. soccer team about four years ago. Gary was always in the highest of spirits and he is a good role model to follow. I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
