Not sure what to say?

My sweet Gary. You are in my thoughts almost daily. We were best friends whenwe were teens in Hanover and when I came to see you at the Moose you always welcomed me with a kiss, open arms and big hugs. I will never stop missing you. Love to you my friend. C

My dearest Gary. We have been friends for over 60 years and I have learned so much from you. You taught me to play the pipe organ and he piano. You taught me how to shimmy and dirty dance. But most of all you taught me to be a likable person and a person who is true to my word by your example. From your example I learned how to be a friend. I think of you more often than I can say and you will always be my love. C

Our thoughts and prayers are sent to all of Gary's family and friends. Robin and I met Gary on our first anniversary in 1994 at the Purple Moose. We enjoyed his conversation and his wit. He and his staff have made us feel welcome every time we walk in to his bar. We appreciate who Gary was and will always have a special memory of him in our minds and thoughts of him in our hearts.

Gary was a great guy! I worked at the Moose as a bartender in 1980, and he was an easy going boss, too.
Rest In Peace Gary. Love Linda Haas

I was the Dj at The Purple Moose for the past seven years. I've worked at 8 bars in my 30 yr career and Gary was truly the best owner I worked for.

We met Gary through one of his employees at the Moose years ago. He was always so kind to us; we shared laughs and talked football at the Moose with him many times over the years. He was a good man, may he rest in peace. Condolences and prayers going out to his family and friends.

My condolences to Gary's sister Nancy and his family along with his Purple Moose family. I went to school with Gary. Long time friend who I did crazy things with in our high school days back in Hanover, PA along with Julie. I remember his mother Gladys. I've visited Gary many of times at Ocean City. He was one of a kind jem. We talked and I planned on being at his 50th party at the Purple Moose along with my son. He worked hard to establish his bar. My heart is broken. I'll see him on the...
