Not sure what to say?

Gary was one of the true icons in our UW Department of Pediatrics. I was fortunate to meet him during my 3rd and 4th years of medical schoolin the late 1980s, and what a treat to eventually be on faculty with him at UW! Gary was generous with his knowledge and was never bothered by a questions including those on evenings and weekends! It was a joyful afternoon, evening in an inviting...

Our family has a vignette involving Gary's care of our child. Our then 3 year old slid off a a chair that revolved hit the back of her head on a desk edge. The fall opened a 2 inch cut on the back of her head and she complained her head hurt. We called the clinic and Gary agreed to stay after the closing hour to see her instead of having us...
