Not sure what to say?

I knew Gary for so many years, and always enjoyed talking with him. He was hilarious, smart, witty, and was so fun to talk with. Getting a haircut was secondary to getting the scoop on what was going on in town. He wasn't gossipy. He just knew stuff! My deepest sympathy to Joyce, Jan, and Bill, and all those who loved him. He was a kind and funny character. Oh, yeah. The haircuts were great, too!

Gary was such a class act- knowledgeable, funny, helpful, and a heck of a barber! A great guy who knew how to tell a great story and he had a lot of them! You will be missed...

Joyce, Jan and BillI am so very sorry for your loss. Gary was always such a great man. Growing up, we would walk by the barber shop and he would always have a wave and a kind word for us kids. Gary was truly an icon in Silverton. My memories extend back the better part of my life, to the times where there were several barbers, and the only reason we wouldn't go to his shop, was if he was gone, and we couldn't wait another week. Joyce, prayers for Gary, you and your family.

Joyce,

Brad and I are so thankful to have seen Gary just recently. We all had such a wonderful time sharing time and memories together again.

As the obituary says, "He will forever be in our hearts."
