Gayle Ann Gosnell passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home in Ft. Myers, FL. She was born February 9, 1954 in Latrobe, PA, daughter of the late Robert W. and Ruth Gosnell. Gayle was raised in Shillington, PA and had a love of dogs and horses. Gayle graduated from Governor Mifflin High School.
She was a long time businesswoman in Ft. Myers and was the original owner of both Animal Sitters and The Dog Resort. She enjoyed traveling and recently made an extensive cross-country journey connecting with friends and family along the way.
In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her son, Alan Gosnell, and her brother, Robert B. Gosnell. Gayle is survived by her sister, Carol Starke, brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Heather Gosnell, daughter-in-law and grandson, Sandi and Alex Gosnell, nephews, Bryan Starke, Steven Starke, Nathan Starke, Robert Gosnell and niece, Morgan Gosnell. She also has many friends who will miss her.

Gayle was my boss at the dog resort for many years. The dog resort
Was my first job at 14 years old and her and I quickly hit it off. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed

Gayle was my friend from 1983 .we went to church together in Hobbs NM.We keep in touch and saw each other several times.we shared a love for animals. Gayle taught me how to love people. My friends and I will miss her.

There wasn't an animal that Gayle was not willing to "sit" for. She took care of our pigs, cow and horse when she first started her business. She was a special person and will be missed.
