Not sure what to say?

A great pilot and a fine gentleman. You will be missed.

I am so sorry Jerry for your loss. I remember growing up with you and spending time at your house with your dad and brothers and sister. I hope everyone in your family will get through this tragic incident and bring you all close together.

It was a pleasure knowing and working with Gene. He was a gentle man who cared so much about his friends and co-workers. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Gene and I worked for Western and Delta. I also worked for him in the LCA office at Delta and I always had great respect for him. He was a fine pilot and a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed.

Gene and I flew many times together during our Western days in Los Angeles. He was a great pilot and a fine gentleman. Gene will be fondly remembered and missed. We've all lost a great friend.

You were a good friend Gene. I always enjoyed working with you. Go in Peace.

Gene and I were close to the same age, and he and I flew as Captain and Co-pilot together several times when we were both based in SLC. I learned a lot from him and trusted his judgement as an excellent airman. He leaves a professional legacy for all pilots to follow.

Julie Block was my dearest friend during Junior High and I have often wondered how the Block family is doing. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Gene. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
