Not sure what to say?

Gene will truly be missed at Odessa College, he had a warm heart and beautiful smile. May God Bless each of you during this very difficult time.

Gene was such a kind person. He had a calm nature that was comforting. He will be missed at Odessa College. I hope and pray that his family will feel God's peace and love during the difficult days ahead.

I did not know Gene well, but the comments I have heard regarding him personally and professionally were glowing. Our sorrow at the loss of his presence is great. Our prayers are with his family at this most difficult time.

I first met Gene in junior high, even though he didn't remember me when I asked him about it. Well, he was sooooo quiet back then. Gene claims he met me in high school and then we got closer at UTPB. It doesn't matter when we met....Gene was a really good friend of mine. He and I had coffee together every Tuesday and Thursday. And we always listened to each other complain in between classes. He always made me feel better no matter what was going on in my life. He would always give me a...

I remember Gene from the Computer lab at UTPB. We were students at the same time and even though we did not have classes together, we were both members of the "Tall Guys"club. We didn't need names, we could see above the crowd.

Where should I begin? Gene was first computer my teacher who made me feel like I was a great student. During that time we became friends and co conspiriters in some very mean tricks that were never played, but should have been. He comforted me when I was down and made me smile when I was mad about something. I loved him and no one will ever take his place in my heart. I will never forget him nor will anyone else that he came in contact with.

Gene was a good friend and a wonderful person, and Odessa College will not be the same without his smiling face in the Computer Science Dept. I offer my deepest condolences to his entire family.

I did not know Gene well, but everything I knew and heard about him was positive. My prayers are with his family as his was a life cut short.

As a friend, colleague and supervisor I will miss Gene. I had the pleasure of watching Gene mature. There were times when it was challenging to be his supervisor, because he was a free spirit. And that free spirit is what made Gene who he was.
