Gene was my first cousin...so sorry to hear of his passing from this life. Our prayers and sympathies to Brad, Colter, Kurt, Victoria and Hildegard.

My condolences to the family, I worked with Gene and enjoyed his friendship for many years, I will miss him greatly. Joe Bobbitt

Kurt, our deepest condolences to you and your family during this time.

Gene and Hildegard spent Sundays at my house. What a loyal, good and honest friend he was. He liked cheese, must have been a mouse at one point. He will be missed so much. My deepest condolences to Brad's and Kurt's family and my dearest friend Hildegard.

My dad (Don Smith) was a good friend of Gene's and I'd like to extend my condolences to Hildegard and the family. Hildegard, I was always very fond of you and I'm very sorry for your loss.
