Gene T. Hewitson

Larry and I met Mary Ellen at Sacred Heart Church and through the Knights of Columbus, where we all attended. They were a lovely couple that we immediately knew we could be friends with. We often sat together at KC dinners. Gene was a kind sweet man. We will miss him. May Gene rest in heavenly peace.

Gene was a dear friend of my brother, Nick. I got to know him through his many visits to our home on Ellis St. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was patient and kind to me and I will miss him. I pray his family will receive comfort and closure. Know that your loss is shared by others and cherish the happy memories we all have of Gene.

John and family, I was so sorry to hear about Gene's death. I have found memories of Gene from my high-school years with John. As a parent of new high-schoolers, I can say he and Thea seemed to have the patience and forgiveness of saints. Wishing all Hewitsons the best. John M.
